Important: This product is optimized for use with the silicone mold included in our Infused Gummy Kit. If you are new to Maestrodose, please start there.
The best! Maestrodose gummy mix incorporates oil better than the traditional jello sort of gummies, and you can barely taste the oil which is great 👏
Potency: Determining the potency/strength of your active ingredient is the crucial first step. This can typically be found on the product label. Measured in milligrams per milliliter (mg/mL).
Dose: Your desired dose of active ingredient per gummy. Measured in milligrams per gummy (mg/gummy).
Volume: Add this volume of active ingredient to your recipe/batch. Measured in milliliters per batch (mL/batch).
The term active ingredient refers to any biologically active substance that provides a desired effect to the consumer. Examples include vitamins, nutraceuticals, and herbal extracts such as tinctures, distillates, oils, and concentrates.
A stovetop water bath (also known as a hot water bath or "bain marie") consists of any heat-proof container set directly in a larger saucepan of hot, simmering water.
How to set up a stovetop water bath:
Generally speaking, "heat-resistant" refers to containers made of tempered glass, ceramic, stainless steel, aluminum, or copper.
We strongly recommend using a Pyrex-style measuring cup because it is heat-resistant and has a spout for pouring your gummy mixture into the mold.
If you don't have a Pyrex measuring cup, a wide-mouth canning jar (or any other heat-proof container) will suffice, as long as it holds at least 1 cup in volume.
While we do recommend using a small whisk for best results, a fork can also work well.
We have a 30-day refund policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible for a refund, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unused, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
You can use regular table sugar (i.e. granulated sugar) or substitute with another sweetener such as turbinado sugar (i.e. raw or cane sugar), maple syrup, or agave syrup to enhance the flavor profile of your gummies.
We use a combination of liquid melatonin and water, juice, or spirits to act as the 3 Tbsp liquid component of our Melatonin Punch recipe. We refer to this as "melatonin mixture".
Pro tip: Often the recommended dosage for liquid melatonin is one dropper (1 mL.) In this case you would require 21 droppers (21 mL) of melatonin + 5 tsp of water, juice, or spirits to create your melatonin mixture.
If you want to fine-tune your melatonin dosage then first use our calculator to determine the amount of liquid melatonin to include in your mixture. Then top-up with water, juice, or spirits for a total of 3 Tbsp (1.5 oz) liquid.

Bitters are aromatic, typically alcohol-based infusions of bittering botanticals (gentian root, cinchona bark, and cassia are common) and flavoring agents like fruit peels, spices, dried flowers, and herbs.
They are sold in small bottles and administered in drops and dashes to add complexity to cocktails (or gummies!)
Flavor extracts are made by drawing out the oils of a showcase ingredient and infusing them into a liquid base—generally alcohol.
They are sold in small bottles and administered in drops and dashes to add complexity to foods (like gummies!)
A reduction refers to any liquid has been simmered until some of the water in it has evaporated, thereby intensifying the flavors and causing it to take up less volume.
We generally recommend a 50% reduction, meaning that the volume of the liquid is reduced by half.
